1. I am a member of TASS. What is TASS you may ask? TASS stands for The Apple Sticker Society (you can understand why we had to keep the T in the acronym). Basically the group is just a group of friends formed in my senior year in high school, and we just made a name to call ourselves something. As for the apple sticker being part of our name, someone in the group always had an apple for lunch, and she would take the sticker off, and put it on the forehead of the person who was "worthy" to have it. Yeah....if that ain't weird, what is? Just a side note, I got nine. I think it was more then anyone else, and I put them on my CD player so I still have them... (oh, I forgot we even have a certificate. I'm not sure if everyone still has theirs, but mine is up on my wall)
2. I started drawing anime characters a couple of days ago. I started with myself, then I drew Rocket Scientist, then a friend on MSN. As for it being random or weird, it was sure random to even me. I just had the sudden desire to try it out, and I did.
3. I am glued to the TV screen when Playhouse Disney is on (even though I have seen the episodes). Even more so then Bug it seems, but then again, he gets more into it when I do too. Especially when Handy Manny comes on. (don't ask me why....I don't even know)
4. After years of hating cinnamon flavored things or hot and spicy things, I am addicted to Atomic Fire Balls. Sometimes it seems like I can't get enough of them. It would seem like being married to Rocket Scientist some things rubbed off on me. Hot cinnamony things, and drawing anime. Maybe I'll even start to like black licorice......no, probably not.....bleh!
5. Somethings I just have to look at things when I'm at the store even though I don't need them, and I don't even know why. It's like I'm obsessed. Hair things, jewelry (I'm trying to calm this one down more, because whenever I look at it, I need to buy something), socks (you know, the colorful ones), and other things that I can't remember right now. (btw, I'm counting this as only one, even though I'm having a hard time thinking of them.....2 more?? hmmmm, maybe I could do it....)
6. I love the word trebuchet. Don't ask me why. It just sounds cool. (has anyone seen the movie Timeline? They shout "Trebuchet!" before every time that they use it.... so cool!!!)
7. When I was younger I liked to get my dad's screwdriver and take apart my toys and put them back together. My favorite one was the motorized train that would drive on the yellow tracks. Last I remember, it doesn't work anymore (I wonder why.....).
I was "tagged" by Jan to complete this exercise of seven random and weird things, and I'm supposed to tag others (welcome to the blogging version of a chain letter). I tag: Justin, Matthew, Lisa (e-mail me), Amy and CAN(email me too!), and anyone else who feels the desire to be "it".
Can I have some?
welcome to my blog.
a place to post. a place to eat oreos. a place to vent. a place to heal.
i started this blog so i could use a different outlet besides munching on fattening oreos. as if that has done any good... *mind wanders to oreo package in the house...*
then i realized that oreos can be semi symbolic. if you are are that crazy about oreos that is. which... i am.
eating oreos is therapeutic for me. when i am struggling or when i need a pick me up. they have chocolate. and sugar. both of which help lift my mood. not to mention that i eat them soaked with milk, which is my miracle drink.
i post my posts to not only get stuff out. there may be people who read my blog who have been in the same kind of situations as i have. i hope reading them and knowing that others have gone through things like i have, will be to you what eating oreos does to me.
and yes. i didn't capitalize anything in here. i just felt like it. deal with it.
munch up.
