Can I have some?

welcome to my blog.

a place to post. a place to eat oreos. a place to vent. a place to heal.

i started this blog so i could use a different outlet besides munching on fattening oreos. as if that has done any good... *mind wanders to oreo package in the house...*

then i realized that oreos can be semi symbolic. if you are are that crazy about oreos that is. which... i am.

eating oreos is therapeutic for me. when i am struggling or when i need a pick me up. they have chocolate. and sugar. both of which help lift my mood. not to mention that i eat them soaked with milk, which is my miracle drink.

i post my posts to not only get stuff out. there may be people who read my blog who have been in the same kind of situations as i have. i hope reading them and knowing that others have gone through things like i have, will be to you what eating oreos does to me.

and yes. i didn't capitalize anything in here. i just felt like it. deal with it.

munch up.

Starfall and blocks

Well, I have been thinking of posting this earlier, but life gets crazy. Some of you might know that I made blocks for Bug for Christmas, and I was thinking that I would post pictures of the finished project for those that were interested in seeing them. Here they are! It is pretty fun to watch him play with them too. Rocket Scientist's mom got a schoolhouse looking thing that helps kids learn about shapes, letters, and numbers and things. Bug likes to match up the letters on the schoolhouse with the blocks. He pushes the "d" on the schoolhouse, then goes and finds the "d" block. And matches them up. It is pretty fun. He also knows what an "e" is and "l", and many others. I thought my mom was crazy when she had Bug playing with Starfall when he was like 9 months old or sometime around there. But how many kids around Bug's age know at least 5 letters? Sadly enough though I can't really claim most of the credit. Like I said, my mom started him on Starfall, and he loved it then, and he loves it still. Cool website. You should check it out sometime.

Wow, Sherrie Lynn these are awesome. How luck Xen is to have you for a mom.

Did you hand paint these? I'm impressed and must have missed out entirely on the artistic genes.
